The whisky is matured in a mixture of 80% former Sherry casks and 20% former Bourbon barrels, creating an intense and rich whisky which retains excellent balance.

On the nose this whisky demonstrates its distinctive Campbeltown heritage, with wonderful earthy coastal notes, oily kelp, baked nuts, sweet cherries, bananas, charred oak and bread. The palate is thick and luxurious, with sweet and fragrant woodspice, zinging citrus rind, oily sea spray, toffee and bright vanilla. The finish is lingering, oily and delicious, with lasting sherried fruits and dark oak flavours.
