A delicious bottling of Highland distillery Glen Ord, forming part of the 2019 Diageo Special Releases.

This 18 year old dram was aged in freshly charred American oak hogsheads, producing a complex, fruity and spicy final product.

Singleton of Glen Order offers up intense flavours of citrus peel, blackberries, apples, pineapple charred oak, peppery spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate, caramel, powdered ginger and vanilla. A little like a spicy blackberry pie.

Bottled at a warming 55% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a rare chance to taste Glen Ord’s spirit in a high quality format.

The 2019 Special Releases had the theme “Rare by Nature”, and this whisky is adorned with a label featuring a fish looking covetous at some juicy blackberries – the perfect visual depiction of this dram! We know how you feel, fish!
