A super popular Tequila known for the Aztec face embossed on the bottle.
Sierra Antiguo Plata is produced at the Destilería Sierra, which is found on a large hacienda (or estate) in Guadalajara, the spiritual home of Tequila and the capital of the state. Distilling is a family business, and the Master Distiller is currently the third generation of his family to have held the role.
This Tequila is made with 100% blue weber agave, gathered from the Jalisco highlands. The spirit is double distilled in copper pot stills.
Unaged, this bottling has a vibrant agave note, accompanied by flavours of pepery spice, oranges, vanilla, cloves, green wood and lime rind.
A great mixer, this would do well in a Margarita.
