A lovely nine year old rum from the Savanna distillery on the island of Reunion, in the Indian Ocean.

The spirit has been distilled from molasses in a column still, before aging in oak casks and blended

The result is a rum with notes of sweet oak, roasted tropical fruits, pears, bananas, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, tobacco leaf and sandalwood.

Bottled at 45% ABV, this is a light, but characterful, French style rum.
