A delicious five year old rum from the Savanna distillery, found on the Isle of Réunion, in the Indian Ocean.

Traditionally made with a base of molasses, this is a flavoursome rum that has been entirely aged in the distillery’s cellars, in casks made of French Limousin and Allier oak.

The final result is a rich, bright rum with notes of pineapples, bananas, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, allspice, some chocolate covered nuts, cinnamon, bright oak and fresh tobacco leaf.

Bottled at 43% ABV for a touch more body and warmth, this is a delectable rum, perfect for slow sipping.
