This bottling has been aged for 5 years, having been distilled at the famous Beenleigh distillery in Logan, Queensland. Here the sugar cane grows in abundance. The rum’s maturation occurred in former Cognac oak barrels at the Château du Breuil.
The result is a rich, buttery offering with flavours of caramelised apple, vanilla, flowers, liquorice, dark chocolate, tobacco, cinnamon, raisins, wine tannins, spiced cider, cedar wood, molasses and oak.
