At Fine Drams we love a mystery, and as such we are intrigued and excited by this bottling of Port Askaig, a whisky from an undisclosed distillery in Islay! Matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, this whisky is a big peaty beast. This has been compared to the famous Ardbeg Ten’s that were released after Glenmorangie restored the distillery, and whisky writer Serge Valentin gave it a whopping 89 points. Fans of the discontinued 15 year old will not be disappointed by this enigmatic drop.
