A small batch single vintage whisky from Mortlach Distillery, bottled by Signatory Vintage for their highly regarded Un-Chillfiltered range.

Mortlach, or the ‘Beast of Dufftown, is known for shining independent bottlings like this one, which has been matured in three hogshead casks.

The end result is a fruity and bright whisky, with flavours of tinned pears, floral honey, light oak, cinnamon and nutmeg, toffee apples, fresh malt, some orange rind, black pepper and green grapes.

Bottled at 46% and (as the name suggests) without chill filtration, this is a lush, well-balanced and satisfying whisky.
