Produced at Mars Shinshu distillery, which is the loftiest in Japan, this whisky is made with a blend of malt and grain spirit.
Matured in a wide range of casks, ‘Kasei’ fittingly takes its name from the Japanese word for Mars.
Kasei serves up subtle flavours of jasmine, peaches, subtle smoke, sweet grain, apples, citrus rind, caramel, light oak and vanilla.
A great daily drinker dram from Japan. Would do well in cocktails.
