Longmorn 15 Year Old 2002 (Cask #800623 & #800624) - Signatory Cask Strength
70 cl, 57.4%

Signatory have an enviable reputation for producing some of the best independently bottled whiskies on the market, and this bottling is another example of a quality Signatory release.

Longmorn is a Speyside distillery with a dedicated following. The distillery’s long ferments and thick stills produce a rather heavy spirit, perfect for aging in either sherry or Bourbon casks. The vast majority of Longmorn’s is used in various Chivas blends.

This bottling has been aged for 15 years in two Bourbon barrels, numbers 800623 and 800624. This dram serves up waves of delicious vanilla and oak flavours, with touches of tropical fruit, woodspice, cream, honey, coconut and milk chocolate.

A rich, yet refreshing whisky, this is bottled at a powerful cask strength of 57.4% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration.

Just 416 bottles were produced.
