We love a good quality Port cask dram, and this is an excellent example of the style
Ledaig is the name given to Tobermory’s peated spirit, and this bottling has been aged for 13 years in Port pipes. The combination of sweet Port and peat is a strikingly delicious one.
This dram serves up notes of peat, burnt wood, oily nuts, sweet Port wine, red berries, toffee, malt, plums, sea spray, blackcurrant, wine tannins and red grapes.
Bottled at a hefty 58.1% ABV, this is a rich and satisfying whisky.
A limited edition, only 1710 bottles were produced.
