A youthful malt spirit from the new Kanosuke Japanese whisky distillery.
Made with 100% unpeated malted barley and distilled in pot stills, this 24 month year old spirit is on its way to becoming a whisky.
The spirit has been aged in Bourbon barrels that have previously held shochu. New Born offers up flavours of blackberries, cherries, apple, dried apricot, salted caramel, vanilla, oak, vivid clean malt and a little maritime iodine.
Bottled at 58%, this is a pure flavour of this distillery’s spirit.
