An elegant Jean Fillioux Cognac that joins the recently created “extra-extra-old” or XXO category.

This Grande Champagne Cognac has been aged for 16 years in French Oak casks, and was bottled in October 2020.

An excellent Grande Champagne bottling that perfectly captures the terroir of the Premier Cru, having been made with Ugni Blanc grapes grown at the family owned Fillioux Estate.

The bottling offers up notes of rich plums, peaches, toasted cinnamon, nutmeg, dark chocolate, vanilla, toffee, rancio, sultanas, toasted oak and fragrant flowers.

Bottled at 41.8% for a touch more warmth and body, this is a Cognac of irresistible class.
