Another lovely Rhum Agricole from J. Bally. This spirit has been distilled at the Saint-James distillery, one of the great names of Martinique distilling.
Produced from fermented sugar-cane juice, Rhum Agricole has a naturally light and fragrant style.
This is a wonderful example of a good, spritely, young Agricole.
Aged for three years in Limousin casks, in the tropical heat of Martinique, this maturation rounds off the rougher edges of the spirit, whilst adding flavours of toffee, caramel, and rich vanilla.
A tropical, fruity and fresh rum, this makes a delightful darker Ti’ Punch.
The rum is presented in the classic pyramid bottle that was devised by Jacques Bally back in the 1930s.
