A delicious, and rather powerful, single grain Irish whiskey from Hyde.
Triple distilled in the traditional Irish fashion, this whiskey has been matured for 8 years in a small collection of former Bourbon barrels. The spirit was bottled in 2017.
The result is a fully flavoured whiskey, rich in classic grassy Irish notes, with full orchard fruits, oily cereals, vanilla, charred oak, fresh hay, toffee and toasted spices. Enormously drinkable for the high proof.
The dram has been bottled at a Cask Strength of 59%, and without chill filtration. Just 1,000 bottles were produced.
