The Glenrothes Robur Reserve takes its name from Quercus Robur (European oak), the most expensive type of oak used in whisky production. This expression uses a high proportion of first fill European oak casks that has been seasoned with sherry in Jerez, Spain, imparting a lot of spiciness, fresh, ripe fruits, and dried fruits to this single malt whisky. This whisky comes in a 1 liter bottle and is only available in the duty free stores (travel retail exclusive).
