The Glenrothes minister’s Reserve is aged for a minimum of 21 years in a very high proportion of Spanish oak sherry casks, with traditional American oak casks making up the rest. This whisky is characterized by lots of dried and ripe fruits along with very complex spiciness, all of which typifies Glenrothes. This release is exclusive to the travel retail market, though we were lucky to get a few bottles.
