A superb limited edition whisky from Speyside distillery Glenrothes.

This is a 1995 vintage, bottled in 2016, with in age of around 20 years. To be exact, this whisky was distilled on the 26th of October 1995 and bottled on the 28th of July 2016.

Glenrothes 1995 has been matured in exclusively American oak casks, producing a sweet, creamy and slightly floral spirit, with an excellent spicy character and some bright citrus notes.

Bottled at the slightly higher proof of 45% ABV, this gives this dram a little bit more power, which is welcome.

This whisky comes in the distinctively round Glenrothes bottle, and each comes with its own presentation box.
