A welcome addition to the Glenglassaugh range, this tasty Port cask-finished dram first hit the shelves back towards the end of 2017.

This was the first ever cask-finished whisky from this distillery, and offers a great taste of what’s to come from this fine Highland whisky.

The whisky opens with a solid Highland base of spicy malt, vanilla, oak and dried fruit, before the jammier, sweeter port cask notes take the fore, with flavours of raspberries, strawberries and chocolate dominating.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a luxurious and thick dram.

An excellent entrance into the world of cask finishes from Glenglassaugh.
