Batch 10 of Glendronach’s super popular Cask Strength series.

This Highland single malt has been aged in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks, producing a decadent and rich whisky.

The final result is lush dram, offering notes of fruit cake, currant buns, cocoa powder, toasted brazil nuts and hazelnuts, dates, almonds, cherries, gingerbread, black pepper, oak, cinnamon, cloves, toffee, citrus rind, espresso, orange juice, leather and prunes.

The Oloroso cask is really on show here, delivering a drier version of the classic sherried Glendronach style - the style which made their name as a distillery.

Bottled at a robust cask strength of 58.6% ABV.
