A single malt, single cask Glenburgie bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their long-running Connoisseurs Choice range. The spirit was bottled especially for the 2022 Pot Still Festival.

This whisky was distilled in 2005, and aged for 16 years in a single first-fill sherry Hogshead.

This drop offers flavours of stewed, jammy red berries, sultanas, dark chocolate, charred oak, funky sherry, meaty malt, cinnamon, cloves, blackcurrant cordial, peppery spice, dried fruits, brown sugar and toasted nuts.

Sherry cask Glenburgie has a cult following, and with whiskies like this, it's easy to see why.

Only 255 bottles were produced, with this whisky bottled at a cask strength of 57.4% ABV.
