A real classic Glen Grant here, bottled by Signatory as part of their Cask Strength series.
Glen Grant is known for aging extremely well, producing some delicious spirit at great ages. This 22 year old is no exception, having been matured in Bourbon casks (numbers 88216 and 88217).
The result is a luxurious and creamy Speyside single malt, packed with notes of buttered bread, honey, pressed flower, tropical fruit, coconut, vanilla, apples, cream and bright oak.
Bottled at a mellower cask strength of 49.9% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouring, this is an approachable yet powerful dram.
Another top quality release from Signatory, fans of the classic Speyside profile will enjoy this whisky.
