An excellent red vermouth from Ferdinand’s – a company better known for its delicious Riesling-based gins.

A fruity and rich vermouth, made with a base of red wine and flavoured with “native, regional and vineyard botanicals”, including green walnut.

The result is a bittersweet vermouth with red wine fruits, rooty spice, chopped herbs, gental nuttiness, and aromatic botanical flavours.

Makes a damn good Manhattan. Keep in the fridge after opening.
