A delicious single vintage Armagnac from Domaine le Basque.

Domaine le Basque is found in the town of Lannemaignan, which has a little over 100 residents. The area is blessed with fertile, clay-rich soil, perfect for the cultivation of grapes for spirit-making. This Domaine has been headed by Michael Lamothe for several decades.

Domaine le Basque uses traditional continuous Armagnac alembics to create a delectable Armagnac, with a superb mouthfeel.

This 1999 vintage is bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration.

The final result is a succulent, satisfying Armagnac, packed with flavours of dried fruit, fresh grapes, sweet wine, toffee, a little hay and grass, pressed flowers, nutmeg and cinnamon, dark chocolate, vanilla and cream.
