An intriguing bottling of Clynelish, forming part of the 2022 Diageo Special releases.

This whisky shifts away from the distillery’s traditional waxy style, instead presenting the spirit after maturation in rich, intensely spicy sherry casks – the dram was finished in PX and Oloroso casks.

The spirit itself offers notes of plums, sultanas, currants, vanilla, orange rind, nuts, toffee, cinnamon, chili, cloves, creamy vanilla, old wine, beeswax and polished oak.

Bottled at a very robust 58.5% ABV, this whisky features a Scottish wildcat on the label.
