Cihuatán Xaman is an ultra-premium rum from El Salvador.

This rum is named after the Mayan god of the North Star, a protector of the Cihuatán valley.

The spirit was aged in American oak Bourbon barrels, before enjoying a unique finish in Mayan Ceiba barrels. Ceiba is a tree native to the tropical regions of the Americas, and considered to be a symbol of the universe by the Maya!

The rum is 16 years old in total, with the final product offering up notes of tropical fruit, tobacco, baked apples and pears, some meaty molasses, a little wood smoke, vanilla, old oak, dark chocolate, cloves and cinnamon.
