A superb vintage Calvados from Château du Breuil.
Distilled in 1998, this is made with Calvados produced exclusively in the year 1997.
The apples used to produce this Calvados are grown at the distillery’s Pays d’Auge orchards, which are only 42 hectares in size. These are fermented slowly, and naturally, without additional ingredients.
The bottling offers flavours of crisp green apples, dry white wine, orange peel, cigar smoke, toasted spices, vanilla, crisp oak, flowers, a slight herbal note and gooseberries.
A wonderful opportunity to taste the produce of one harvest and distillation.
