Here’s something a little bit different – a Bourbon whiskey from Iowa!
Produced at the first legal distillery in the Hawkeye State, this is a small batch Bourbon made with a mashbill of 74% “family-farmed” corn, 14% malted rye and 12% two-row malted barley. The spirit is aged for a minimum of three years in new American oak casks.
The result is a whiskey that delivers flavours of chocolate covered toffee, cornbread and honey, dried fruits, pineapple, creamy oak, subtle honey and warming black pepper.
A very impressive whiskey.
