This whisky has been aged for 16 years, with a finish in ex-Jamaican rum casks providing funk and sweetness to the final product.

Drinkers should expect notes of pineapple, bananas, apples, peaches, peppery spice, creamy oak, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, chilli, rummy funk, brown sugar and light pears.

The spirit is presented in a bottle and gift tube with the theme, ‘'The Hidden Paradise of Black Rock' a reference to the first name of the distillery, Carn Dubh, or 'the black rock’.
