A delectable fruity gin from Scottish company Caorunn. Caorunn (pronounced ‘Ka-Roon’) are based at the Balmenach distillery in Speyside.

Distilled in a “unique Copper Berry Chamber”, the gin has been infused with handpicked Perthshire Raspberries, alongside Caorunn’s usual 11 other botanicals (which include heather, blush apple, rowan berry, juniper and dandelion). Caorunn made a point of not colouring their raspberry gin pink, as many others are, preferring the flavour of the berry to speak for itself.

The result is a beautiful, rich gin with powerful notes of tart raspberries, dried cranberry, soft juniper, subtle citrus, and a clean peppery spice.

A great match for tonic, this also does well with fruit juices and lemonade.
