Belgian distillery Buss Spirits style themselves as “Outsiders in the Fabulous World of Spirits” and they certainly have produced some interesting flavour combinations. They are the same people behind Shack Spiced Rum.

Founded by Serge Buss, a former chef, the company place a great influence on innovative flavours. This bottling is one such example, flavoured with delicious Belgian apples.

The gin has been distilled with classic gin botanicals, before being macerated with fresh fruits for a colourful, juicy spirit.

The final result is a gin packed with notes of bright, slightly acidic apples and pears, accompanied by further flavours of bittersweet juniper, flowers, pepper, coriander and angelica.

A great option for autumn-inspired cocktails, this also does rather well dropped into mulled cider, or mixed with lemonade for a refreshing long drink.
