On the 19th of September, 2001, and single sherry cask (cask no. 2001000330) sourced from the Fernando de Castilla bodega in Jerez, Spain, was filled at the Bruichladdich distillery. This barrel was left to age for 14 long years until being bottled on the 21st of September, 2015, by the Rest & Be Thankful Whisky Co. with a yield of just 234 bottles, all at a strength of 60.4% ABV with no chillfiltration or colouring. Just look at the colour of this one! Remarkable for just 14 years in the barrel.
