A fantastic old rum from probably the Dominican Republic’s most famous distillery, Brugal.

This rum has been double distilled, like a malt whisky, before being aged initially in American oak casks, followed by a further finishing period in former Sherry casks from Spain.

The result is a perfectly balanced rum, with the dried fruit and leather flavours of the Sherry cask offsetting the vivid sweetness and bright vanilla of the rum. This bottling possesses a superb, buttery mouthfeel, with plenty of body and depth.

A top-quality product all-round, this is a great value for money special edition rum.
