Another superb dram from Gordon and MacPhail’s Connoisseurs Choice range.

This time they’ve bottled spirit from BenRiach distillery in Speyside!

The whisky was distilled in 1999 and bottled on the 20th of October 2020, having been aged in a single refill American hogshead for 21 years.

The final product is a ripe, tropical whisky with notes of lime rind, pineapple juice, soft apples, white peaches, milk chocolate, pears, liquorice, thick vanilla, creamy nutmeg and bright American oak.

Bottled at a warming cask strength of 55%, and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a high quality dram typical of the range.

Just 165 bottles were produced.
