A belting cask strength rye whisky from Texan distillers Balcones.

This dram has been co-fermented with ‘ale and whisky yeasts’, before being distilled in a traditional pot still.

The spirit has then been aged for around four years in charred new American oak casks. This powerful whisky offers notes of thick caramel, rye bread, vanilla, a little leather, dried fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, tobacco, cinnamon, chilli, cloves, charred oak and cracked black pepper.

Bottled at a fearsome 64% ABV, this is an intensely flavoursome and full bodied drop.
