A flavoursome Balblair whisky bottled by industry legends Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice range.

A 1998 vintage, this whisky was bottled on the 12th of February 2020, having been aged in a single first fill Bourbon barrel for 21 years.

The intensity of the cask is perfectly suited to Balblair’s fruity house style. Drinkers can expect notes of tropical fruits – lime, banana and mango, apples, pears, intense bright oak, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, toasted nuts, biscuits, white chocolate and creamy honey.

Bottled at a warming 51.5% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, this is a medium bodied, well balanced dram.

Only 183 bottles were drawn from the single cask.
