The eagerly anticipated third release in anCnoc’s continued partnership with New York-based Scottish designer and artist Peter Arkle.

Each bottle in this series takes a look at a different part of the whisky making process. This time round, Peter Arkle took inspiration from the bricks of the distillery’s traditional dunnage warehouses, which feature prominently on the label and tube of this whisky.

Aside from its superb branding, the whisky is pretty excellent too! Matured in a mixture of sherry seasoned cask and former Bourbon barrels, this is a single malt of poise and balance, with the sherry granting flavours of dried fruit, dark oak and woodspice, and the Bourbon barrels notes of vanilla, toffee and creamy custard. The classic anCnoc notes of lemon and orange rind are present too, with a little dark chocolate.

Bottled at a warming 46% ABV, and without chill filtration or artificial colouring, this is a fully flavoured and natural dram.

Once again, impressive stuff from the folks at Knockdhu.
