An interesting release from the vodka juggernaut, Absolut.

This bottling is Absolut’s take on the classic Swedish “Snaps” liqueur, commonly flavoured with cardamom.

Extrakt No. 1 combines Absolute Vodka with green cardamom, amongst a range of other, secret, spices and botanicals.

The result is a warming, spicy spirit with notes of fragrant cardamom, subtle cinnamon, peppery spice, liquorice, vanilla, and slight cream.

Presented in a charming apothecary-styled bottling that recalls the medicinal origins of infused spirits in Sweden.
