A Dutch peated whisky from the Vink brand, produced at the

De Tweekoppige Phoenix distillery.

The spirit has been aged in a combination of Bourbon and Ruby Port casks, lending the smoky spirit a sweet spiciness.

The end result is a spritely, youthful dram with a bright malt character, joined by thick peat smoke, vanilla, red berries, cinnamon, raisins, almonds, charred oak and toffee.

Bottled at 44.7% ABV for a touch more body and depth, this is an impressive whisky at a young age – boding well for the future of this distillery.
