A bottling with an air of mystery! This addition to Signatory’s Un-Chillfiltered range is produced at an unnamed Speyside distillery – suggested by some to be the prestigious Macallan.

In keeping with the mysterious theme, the whisky was matured in two Hogsheads, with numbers intelligible probably only to the warehouse workers who cared for them - Cask DRU 17/A106 51 + 52. The whisky is 12 years old, having been distilled on the 11th of July 2005, and bottled on the 26th of February 2018.

The dram itself is lightly flavoured, with notes of apple, pear, hay, malt, grass, toffee, vanilla, pressed flowers, and some slight woodspice.

This Unnamed Speyside is bottled at 46% ABV, and presented without colouring or chill filteration.

An enigmatic, yet no less delicious whisky from Signatory.
