A mystery dram from Orkney, the most northerly reaches of Scottish distilling.

This single cask whisky has been bottled by the Ultimate Whisky Co. There are only two whisky distilleries on Orkney, Scapa and Highland Park, so keen drinkers will have to try to work out which one this bottling is from.

Distilled in 2006, and bottled in 2022, this whisky aged for 16 years in a refill butt.

Drinkers should expect notes of slightly ashy malt, toasted nuts, leather, blackberry jam, raisins, lightly charred oak, funky sherry, dark chocolate, cinnamon and plums. 

Bottled at 46% ABV, this is a very characterful and distinctive offering.
