A superb 12 year old edition of the Irish whiskey stalwart. This whiskey was originally destined for the travel retail market, we’ve been lucky enough to get our hands on a few bottles. This has all the lovely cereal sweetness as the standard version, and retains its traditional Irish production technique of triple distillation. A little more age has benefitted this dram considerably, giving it delicious notes of bright oak and vanilla. This is a multi-award winning dram, picking a “Master” award in the Irish Whisky Masters (run by the Spirits Business Magazine) in 2014, and a Double Gold medal in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition of the year before.
