A beauty of a long aged Tormore from Elgin based bottlers Gordon and MacPhail.
This 24 year old was distilled in 1995, and bottled in 2019, and forms part of the bottler’s highly regarded Connoisseurs Choice range.
The whisky has been aged in a single refill sherry puncheon, producing a dram of real depth and complexity.
Drinkers can expect notes of fudgy dark chocolate, coconut oil, raisins, sultanas, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, orange peel, toasted malt, apples, oatcakes and ginger biscuits.
Bottled at 56.2% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, producing a spirit intense in both flavour and body.
Just 448 bottles were produced.
