A powerfully peaty dram from Torabhaig, a small independent distillery on the Isle of Skye.

This bottling has been made with whisky produced from Concerto and Laureate malted barley, which has been heavily peated (to a level of 78+ part per million). The spirit was then matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon barrels and re-fill Scotch whisky casks.

Allt Gleann offers notes of rich peat smoke, cedarwood, lemon rind, wood smoke, brine, vanilla, charred oak, a little seaweed, pineapple, peaches, malty biscuits, peppery spice, some soft flowers and more thick, fudgy peat smoke.

This dram weighs in at 61.1% ABV, allowing the smoke and spice to really take hold.
