Initially a travel retail exclusive, Tamdhu Gran Reserva has been aged in first fill Oloroso sherry casks.

The result is a thick, malty dram that serves up notes of cherries, strawberries In syrup, sweet malt, mango, melons, slight mint and oats, slightly bitter oak, cream and powdered spice.

A terrific, well sherried, sweet and spicy dram. Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, Gran Reserva is a well balanced, medium bodied whisky.

As ever with Tamdhu, the bottle is beautifully presented in a cut-crystal style.
