The third batch of Tamdhu’s popular Batch Strength bottling, which we reckon is stupendous value for money.

Matured entirely in sherry casks, this whisky offers up superb sherried flavours of plums, prunes, vanilla cream, citrus peel, sultanas, walnuts, polished oak, maple, jammy forest fruits, nutmeg, clove spice, chocolate and oily malt. Tamdhu Batch Strength Batch 3 enjoys a big, meaty mouthfeel.

The dram is bottled without chill filtration and at a hefty batch strength of 58.3% ABV, which allows the flavours to really sing.

Tamdhu’s bottle design is amongst the most fetching on the market, which does no harm at all.
