Another high-quality, finished rum from Summum. This company take their name from the Latin word which translates as “absolute excellence”, which is an apt description for their spirits.

This rum was made in Dominica, and to the specifications of ancient formulas, with the ambition of replicating the style of rum that Máximo Gómez would have drunk during the Cuban War of Independence – Gómez hailed from Dominica.

Summum have enlisted the highly experienced Juan Alberto Alvarez to produce their rum.

This rum has been finished in sweet Sauternes wine casks, imparting flavours of white grapes, dessert wine and succulent spices to the rummier flavours of butter, tropical fruits, bright oak and brown sugar.
