A fantastic blended Australian whisky from one of the best distilleries Down Under.
Made with two different grain varieties: Australian malted barley and Australian wheat. The barley provides depth and texture, whilst the wheat provides brightness, sweetness, and fragrance.
As with their Nova single malt, Two Fold has been aged in light charred or steamed barrels from Australian wineries producing high quality Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Cabernet red wines. The casks come directly from the wineries with no middle man, often still wet with wine, ensuring the oak imparts plenty of rich, fruity flavours to the spirit.
The result is a super drinkable blended whisky, that offers up notes of sweet grain, vanilla, pineapple, mango, chewy malt, red berries, apples, toffee and subtle oak.
A really versatile whisky, complex enough to enjoy neat, but also delicious in a range of cocktails and highballs. Surprisingly delicious with tonic!
