Speyburn was constructed in 1897, and in the Speyside town of Rothes, also home to Glen Grant and Glenrothes distilleries. The distillery was designed by the famous Charles Doig. It is known as one of Scotland’s most picturesque distilleries.

This bottling was aged for an astonishing 28 years in two refill American oak Hogsheads. This long aging in refill casks is a unique variety of malt whisky that produces some extraordinary results.

This is a fine example of the style, offering up waves of woodspice, nutty oils, tropical fruits, citrus and slightly herbaceous flavours.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or artificial colouration, this is a traditional Speyside whisky of real quality.

Just 528 bottles were produced.
