A big bottling of this beautifully designed Islay single malt.
Distilled at a mystery distillery on the smoky Islay, this whisky has been produced by highly esteemed bottlers and blenders, Hunter Laing.
Scarabus takes its name from the Old Norse meaning ‘rocky place’ - and is apparently named after a part of Islay that has spiritual meaning.
Scarabus offers notes of sweet peat, caramelised citrus rind, heather honey, dried fruits (particularly sultanas and dried apricot), some floral peat smoke, cereal, sea spray, lemon juice, toffee and toasted oak.
A brilliant value Scotch whisky that peat lovers will enjoy.
